Here is the recap of this week's action.

The Farmington Knights dominated their homecoming night against the Sikeston Bulldogs, getting back into the win column. The defense had another fantastic outing, allowing only 2 points. Aside from the loss at Jackson, the Knights have allowed only 7 points. In that Jackson game, they allowed 47.

The Festus Tigers and North County Raiders had the 32nd highest-scoring game in Missouri High School Football History, with a final score of 55-31. An absolute classic that was mainly dominated by the Tigers and that fantastic offense, but the Raiders were able to keep up with that offense for a big chunk of the game.

St. Genevieve took down the Central Rebels 20-7. The Rebels kept it moderately close, but St. Gen had the better offense. The Rebels continue their offensive struggles this season, but the defense played pretty well. St. Gen has the cross-town rivalry and takes on Valle Catholic in Week 7.

DeSoto collected a huge win against the Fredericktown Blackcats with a 33-8 victory. Both teams were desperate for a win, and the Dragons just looked like the better team. That starts a 2-game win streak for the Dragons, while the Blackcats have now dropped 3 straight.

Valle Catholic continues to be dominant, as they blew out the Potosi Trojans 63-6. The Trojans have been on a 4-game losing streak, after starting the season 2-0. Valle has played some pretty good schools and has dominated them both, looking like a top-3 team in the state. They take on the St. Genevieve Dragons in Week 7 in the Dockins Sports game of the week.

The Farmington Knights (4-1) have their homecoming night against the 4-1 Sikeston Bulldogs. Sikeston has been a huge surprise so far this season, only losing to Jackson. Farmington just recently lost to Jackson in Week 5 and are looking to bounce back in a massive Week 6 game. Coverage on Froggy 96 at 7 p.m.

The North County Raiders (2-3) travel to Festus (3-2) for the Tigers' homecoming. The Raiders are looking for their third win of the year, and revenge against the Tigers for last season's District Championship game. Coverage begins at 6:30 on The Zone 107.1.

The St. Genevieve Dragons (4-1) travel to Park Hills to take on the Central Rebels (2-3). Central had a huge homecoming win last week against the Potosi Trojans, and looks to continue to capitalize on that success in Week 6. Meanwhile, the Dragons are on a hot streak, just blowing out the Fredericktown Blackcats. Dragons are also looking for a big win before taking on Valle Catholic next week.

Two teams desperately looking for wins take on each other tonight: the DeSoto Dragons (2-3) and the Fredericktown Blackcats (2-3). The Dragons just got a huge win against Windsor, while the Cats are on a two-game losing streak. Fredericktown has their homecoming tonight, in what should be a great environment.

Valle Catholic (5-0) travels to Potosi (2-3), who definitely need a win. However, it's gonna be a difficult game for the Trojans. The Warriors are one of the state's best teams and continue to look the part. A Potosi win would be one of the season's biggest upsets. However, anything is possible, and the Trojans looked strong early in the season.
